Right now as I write this the release is 24,577 CFS. So it is going to be a while before it is ready to fish. Notice the questions marks, if you are guys are getting all the rain we are getting here then it could be sometime before we can go. <br />Smith Lake here is out of control, with heavy generation daily. Docks have broken loose from lake houses up and down the main channel of the lake because of the heavy rains. Trout fishing below the dam is extremely dangerous because of generation.
